Learn More

Learn everything you want to know about descriptive and inferential statistics.

Basically, descriptive statistics is like taking a snapshot or a picture of data. It helps you summarize and describe the main features of a group of numbers, like finding the average or the most common value.

Inferential statistics, however, is like playing detective with the data. It helps you make predictions or draw conclusions about a whole population based on a smaller sample. It involves using probability and statistical methods to make educated guesses or uncover patterns that can apply to a larger group.

You should consider studying this if you enjoy working with numbers, solving puzzles, and drawing insights from data. It can apply to nearly every industry, and will help you understand trends, make informed decisions, and conduct research.
